Reliable payment methods: Iraq → Turkey

How to send money reliably from Iraq to Turkey 1. Choose a licensed remittance or banking channel Use a bank wire, an authorized exchange office, or a well-known money transfer operator that operates in both Iraq and Turkey. Prefer providers that give you a tracking reference. 2. Confirm recipient details before you pay Ask the seller or agent for the exact beneficiary name (as on the Turkish bank ID), IBAN, bank name, and any SWIFT/BIC if required. Double-check spelling — mismatches delay clearance. 3. Complete KYC / identity checks Bring a valid passport or national ID. Some offices also ask for the purpose of transfer (e.g. property purchase / deposit). Keep a copy of the receipt. 4. Ask about fees, FX rate, and timeline Compare the all-in cost (fee + exchange rate) and expected arrival time (same day vs 1–3 business days). Write the quoted rate on your receipt. 5. Transfer a test amount when possible For large property payments, send a small test transfer first, confirm receipt with the beneficiary bank, then send the remaining balance. 6. Share proof of payment Send the transfer reference / Swift copy to your StepProp advisor or the company contact so they can confirm funds and proceed with the next step.
